CBH understands the importance of exceptional breeding stock and as such partnered with Aviagen, the world leaders in broiler breeds. Synapp International Ltd, the majority shareholder of CBH, acquired two avian brands under licence – Arbor Acres in South Africa and Ross in the rest of Africa.

Arbor Acres was introduced into the South African poultry industry in 2006 and has established itself as one of the most competitive breeds in the country. It is the exclusive breed of choice for Country Bird’s Supreme Poultry broiler operations in South Africa. Arbor Acres S.A. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Synapp International.

KFC

CBH is proud of its strategic relationship with KFC across Africa and continues to invest in this premium brand. Adherence to the strictest quality and food safety standards is of utmost importance in growing and maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship. CBH supplies chicken to KFC in South Africa, Lesotho, Mozambique, Botswana and Zambia. CBH is the KFC franchisee in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
