In early 2016, Country Bird Holdings acquired three existing KFC restaurants in Zambia. This included the exclusive franchise rights to further develop the brand through the expansion of outlets in the country. CBH currently has 7 KFC franchise restaurants in Zambia.

Zimbabwe
Country Bird Holdings acquired exclusive franchise rights for Zimbabwe for KFC in 2013. Currently ten KFC outlets have been successfully opened. In addition, a distribution centre has recently been completed to control efficient supply to the restaurants.
